BNSF B.I.G IS HERE
The planned 4,500+ acre Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Rail Facilities will not only change the course of North American transportation, it will also change the future of the City of Barstow.
The new gateway will provide thousands of direct and indirect jobs, expanding the population in Barstow and increasing the need for more shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment, and housing.

BNSF Railway

The new integrated rail facility by BNSF Railway will include a rail yard, intermodal facility, and warehouses, Containers directly transferred from ships at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to trains for transportation via the Alameda Corridor to the BNSF mainline up to Barstow. 


Spanish Trail Retail Shops

Located on 61.49± gross acres (27.3± net acres) of land, this property is anchored by an existing Home Depot with estimated annual gross sales of $24 million±. With directaccess to I-15 Freeway and Main Street Historic Route66, the property includes over 27.30± acres of designated Opportunity Zone. The I-15 at L Street sees an AnnualAverage Daily Count (AADT) of 73,000, according to Caltrans 2020. The property serves 67,000± residents, personnel stationed at the neighboring Fort Irwin National Training Center, and U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base personnel, all within a 35-minute or less drive.
